Network measurements, not personal activity.
The upload contains the device list visible to your computer, device type/vendor guesses, hostnames when advertised by a device, signal and link details, latency, packet loss, DNS timing, route hops, scores, and deterministic flags.
Full MAC addresses are not uploaded. The scanner keeps the first three octets used to identify the manufacturer and replaces the rest with a one-way hash for deduplication. It does not collect browsing history, passwords, file contents, or messages.

Frequently asked questions
What does the scanner collect?
It collects network health measurements and a list of devices visible on the local network. It does not read browsing history, passwords, files, or messages.
Are full MAC addresses uploaded?
No. The manufacturer prefix stays, while the device-specific part is replaced with a one-way hash before upload.
Why does Windows show a warning?
The Phase 2 beta is unsigned. Confirm the download is from wificheckup.ca, select More info, then Run anyway.
